Terms & Conditions

​These Terms & Conditions apply to all consultations, bookings, hair purchases and services provided by AJ Hair Extensions. By booking an appointment, completing a consultation form or proceeding with any treatment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Deposits

  • A £100 non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments involving new hair purchases. This deposit covers the time reserved for your appointment, consultation, and the selection, preparation or ordering of your hair.

  • Your deposit secures your appointment and will be deducted from your final balance.

  • Once the required deposit has been received, your appointment will be confirmed, and your hair will be selected, prepared and, where necessary, specially ordered for your treatment.

  • Hair ordered specifically for a client is bespoke and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

 

Cancellations & Appointments

  • At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments will result in the loss of the deposit.

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled or have their appointment shortened.

 

Pricing

  • Quotations are based on the information provided during the consultation.

  • Every client and every hair extension service is unique. If additional hair, colour work, time or corrective work is required, the final price may change.

  • Any additional costs will always be discussed before proceeding.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking has been confirmed. Once confirmed, quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

 

Hair Extensions

  • Results vary depending on natural hair, hair condition, previous treatments, lifestyle and aftercare.

  • As human hair is a natural product, slight variations in colour, texture and wave pattern may occur.

  • Natural daily hair shedding is normal and may be more noticeable when extensions are removed.

  • Hair extensions place additional weight on the natural hair, and a mild feeling of tension during the initial adjustment period is normal.

  • The lifespan of hair extensions varies depending on hair type, maintenance and home care. A specific lifespan or result cannot be guaranteed.

  • The recommended extension method, amount of hair and fitting technique will be selected based on the client's natural hair, hair condition and suitability to help achieve the safest and most natural-looking result.

 

Medical Information

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding any allergies, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding or any other factors that may affect their treatment.

  • AJ Hair Extensions reserves the right to refuse, modify or discontinue a service where it is considered unsuitable or where continuing may compromise the health of the client's natural hair.

Maintenance & Aftercare

  • Maintenance appointments are generally recommended every 8–12 weeks.

  • Clients are expected to follow the provided Aftercare Guide.

  • Clients are encouraged to contact AJ Hair Extensions before allowing another stylist to remove, alter or refit their extensions.

  • AJ Hair Extensions cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect aftercare, missed maintenance appointments, self-removal or work carried out by another stylist.

 

Colour Matching

Every effort is made to achieve the closest possible colour match. Reference photographs are used as inspiration only, and exact colour results cannot be guaranteed.

 

Refunds

  • Due to the bespoke and personalised nature of hair extension services, specially ordered hair cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

  • If you have any concerns regarding your treatment, please contact AJ Hair Extensions within 7 days of your appointment to allow the opportunity to assess the issue and, where appropriate, provide a suitable resolution.

  • Where a service has been carried out as agreed, completed treatments are not eligible for a refund, without affecting your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

 

Photography

Before and after photographs may be taken for client records. With your separate consent, images may also be used for marketing purposes, including the AJ Hair Extensions website and social media platforms.

 

Children & Guests

Due to limited space and the length of appointments, only the client receiving the treatment may attend, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

 

 

Force Majeure

  • AJ Hair Extensions cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, severe weather, transport disruption, power failures or supplier delays.

  • Where possible, appointments will be rescheduled at the earliest mutually convenient time.

 

Privacy

Personal information is collected solely for consultation, booking, treatment, appointment management and legal record-keeping purposes and is processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

 

Your Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
